As was discussed at the last BOD meeting, we are looking to expand the presence of LWML SWD’s “Serve the Lord with Gladness” mission by volunteering at various events in the district.

We have our first opportunity…the 2018 SWD District Convention June 10-12th at Concordia University (http://swd.lcms.org/2018-south-wisconsin-district-convention/).

This event is in need of pages, ushers, registration table helpers and greeters.

Please share this information with your zones and societies. The spring rallies would be a perfect time to present and discuss volunteering.

Contact info for those women willing to serve need to be sent to Jennifer Olen ([email protected])  by May 1st. Please include Name, Address, Email, Phone Number, Dates available (June 10th, 11th or 12th) and indicate if a sitting job is preferred.

This is a terrific opportunity to put on your purple LWML attire, your servant spirit and a smile that reflects- Yes, I am LWML!
