Imagine the excitement of receiving a new(er) vehicle that is intended to serve you for years to come as you carry out your mission of serving God's people. This happened recently at A Place of Refuge Ministries because of your generous donations to our SWD mite collection. A check for $20,000 was presented on April 18 by  District Treasurer Patty Silah, to APOR House Manager,  Deaconess Kristin Hodge, with Pastor David Paape looking on. This took place at St Paul Lutheran Church, Brown Deer, WI. Later, the keys were presented to Kristin in the parking lot showing the new van which will be used by Refuge House and the residents in their day to day operations.
